Waddle Urges Barcola to Choose Liverpool Over Arsenal

Former England footballer Chris Waddle has advised Bradley Barcola to reject a move to Arsenal in favor of Liverpool. Waddle believes that Barcola, currently at Paris Saint-Germain, would thrive more under the management of Andoni Iraola at Liverpool than under Mikel Arteta at Arsenal.

In an interview with Tribal Football, Waddle stated that Barcola would have greater freedom to express his skills at Liverpool, as Iraola would encourage him to challenge defenders and create scoring opportunities. He expressed concern that Arteta might be overly cautious about Barcola losing possession, which could significantly reduce his effectiveness on the field.

Waddle emphasized that Barcola needs the opportunity to perform at his best, which is why clubs are willing to invest heavily in him, with a transfer fee of €140 million being quoted. Both Arsenal and Liverpool are pursuing Barcola this summer, and he is eager to leave PSG for regular playing time.
