Transfer: Fulham track Nigerian striker, Otele

Fulham is reportedly interested in signing Nigerian striker Philip Otele from Basel, with a scout from the Premier League club attending Basel's UEFA Champions League playoff match against Copenhagen. The club is considering making a formal offer for Otele, who is also being tracked by Bundesliga side Eintracht Frankfurt.

The Nigerian forward, valued at around Basel, initially joined the Swiss club on loan from a United Arab Emirates side in January 2025 before making a permanent transfer. Otele has scored nine goals in 18 league appearances for Basel, making him an attractive prospect for Fulham and other interested clubs.

The competition for his signature is heating up, with Fulham weighing their options in the transfer market.
