Trabzonspor Nears Loan Deal for Tolu Arokodare

Trabzonspor is in the final stages of negotiating a loan deal for striker Tolu Arokodare from Wolverhampton Wanderers, as reported by the Daily Post. The Turkish Super Lig club is eager to secure a new striker following the departure of Felipe Augusto to Zenit.

Trabzonspor is expected to pay Arokodare's entire annual salary of €3.7 million. The move comes amid uncertainty surrounding Arokodare's teammate Paul Onuachu, who was a joint top scorer in the Turkish Super Lig last season and is linked with a transfer to Saudi Arabian club Al Ahli.

Arokodare is anticipated to arrive in Turkey next week to finalize the deal. The 25-year-old striker joined Wolverhampton from Belgian Pro League club KRC Genk last summer, where he scored three goals and registered one assist in 33 league appearances.
