Josh Maja Linked with Stoke City Transfer Move

Josh Maja, a 27-year-old Nigerian striker, is reportedly linked with a move to Stoke City following his departure from West Bromwich Albion due to a failed contract negotiation. According to a report by the Daily Post, Maja's previous loan spell at Stoke City from French club Girondins de Bordeaux during the 2021-22 season saw him score 15 goals in 41 appearances in the Sky Bet Championship.

Stoke City manager Mark Robins is said to admire Maja, who has a current market value of approximately £4.5 million, as reported by Transfermarkt. Maja joined West Bromwich Albion from Bordeaux in 2023 and scored 19 goals in 81 appearances for the club.

Other clubs, including Watford and Bristol City, are reportedly monitoring the player as well.
