Nigerian Midfielder Onuch Ogbelu Joins Al-Ittihad SC

Onuch Ogbelu, a 23-year-old Nigerian midfielder, has officially joined Libyan club Al-Ittihad SC on a permanent transfer from Tunisian powerhouse Esperance. The transfer follows the expiration of his contract with Esperance, and Ogbelu has signed a three-year contract with Al-Ittihad.

Prior to his time in Tunisia, Ogbelu played for Nasarawa United in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL), where he made 54 league appearances and scored twice. Additionally, Ogbelu represented Nigeria at the 2023 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations in Egypt, where the team finished in third place.

He was among four players selected to train with the Super Eagles ahead of an upcoming tournament.
