Robert Lewandowski to Join Chicago Fire in MLS

Robert Lewandowski, the 37-year-old Polish striker, is set to join Chicago Fire in Major League Soccer. This move comes as Lewandowski leaves Barcelona, where he has played since the 2022 season.

According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Lewandowski visited the club two weeks ago and is expected to finalize his signing early next week. This transfer marks a new chapter for Lewandowski in the USA, following his successful stints at Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund in the Bundesliga.

Notably, Lewandowski did not participate in the ongoing FIFA World Cup as Poland failed to qualify for the tournament. His contract with Chicago Fire will commence after the conclusion of the 2025-26 season.
