Danny Welbeck Set for Chelsea Medical Ahead of Transfer

The former Manchester United and Arsenal player is expected to finalize his move to Stamford Bridge in the coming days. Chelsea's manager, Xabi Alonso, has given his approval for the transfer, aiming to enhance his squad with Welbeck's experience.

Football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano confirmed the deal on social media, stating, “Danny Welbeck to Chelsea, here we go! Deal in place with Brighton for the English striker.” Romano also noted that Brighton has consented to the transfer following a formal request from Welbeck, with the contract extending until 2028.
