Troops Arrest Cattle Rustler, Recover 18 Cattle in Kano

On May 25, at approximately 6:30 PM, troops from the Nigerian Army apprehended a suspect identified as a cattle rustler in the Shanono Local Government Area of Kano State. The arrest occurred during a routine patrol in the Tsauren Gener area.

The suspect is alleged to have stolen cattle from civilians in the Mangafi area of the Musawa Local Government Area in Katsina State. The troops intercepted the suspect while he was attempting to move the stolen cattle towards Gwarzo.

A total of 18 stolen cattle were recovered and are currently in the custody of the troops, who will conduct further investigations and necessary actions regarding the incident.
