Police and Military Recover 67 Stolen Cows in Kano

The Kano State Police Command, in collaboration with the Military Joint Task Force, successfully recovered 67 stolen cows in Gwarzo Local Government Area. This operation was initiated following credible intelligence received on Wednesday.

The police, led by CSP Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa, mobilized personnel to the affected community, where they engaged in a gun duel with suspected cattle rustlers. The superior firepower of the joint security team forced the criminals to abandon the livestock and flee outside the state.

The recovered cows were taken into custody by the Gwarzo Police Division for proper identification and verification before being returned to their rightful owners. The operation was supervised by local government chairman Ibrahim Adamu Bakori, who commended the military personnel for their professionalism.
