Troops Arrest Boko Haram Logistics Supplier in Borno

On February 27, 2023, troops from the 29 Task Force Brigade, in collaboration with members of the Civilian Joint Task Force (CJTF), arrested a suspected Boko Haram logistics supplier named Bukar Hassan, aged 30, in Kaga Local Government Area, Borno State. The operation took place around 3:30 PM, following credible intelligence that led to the suspect's apprehension near Mainok Market.

During the arrest, security sources reported the recovery of several items, including a mobile phone, a knife, and cash amounting to N100,000. Preliminary investigations are ongoing to determine Bukar Hassan's alleged involvement in providing logistical support to Boko Haram terrorists.
