Troops Arrest Boko Haram Logistics Supplier in Borno

On February 27, troops from the 212 Battalion conducted a stop-and-search operation along the Maiduguri-Gubio road in Borno State, where they arrested a suspected logistics supplier for Boko Haram. The operation took place around 9:30 AM when the troops intercepted an ash-colored Golf vehicle carrying an adult male and two male minors.

During the search of the vehicle, the troops recovered several items believed to be intended for terrorist activities, including motorcycle spare parts, tricycle spare parts, a water pump machine, a water hose, six bags of grain, and a mobile phone. The two minors were subsequently released to their guardian, identified as Alhaji Ali Bukar.

The adult suspect, whose name was not disclosed, was handed over to the 7 Military Intelligence Brigade for further investigation and necessary action.
