Troops Arrest Three Suspects, Recover Arms in Benue

On March 26, troops deployed in Benue State conducted a patrol in Guma Local Government Area following intelligence about a suspected terrorist enclave in the Tse Utsaha and Agasha communities. The operation, which took place at 8:34 AM, resulted in the arrest of three suspects.

During the patrol, the troops recovered an AK-47 rifle, two AK magazines, and 27 rounds of 7.62mm special ammunition. Additionally, a mobile phone and other sundry items were seized from the suspects.

The recovered items are currently in military custody for further investigation and necessary action.
