Troops Arrest Two Suspected Terrorists in Kogi State

Troops from the 12 Brigade conducted a security patrol in the Ajaokuta Local Government Area of Kogi State on May 19 at approximately 9:00 AM. This operation was part of a sustained effort to curb criminal activities and restore security along vulnerable routes in the area.

During the patrol, the troops apprehended two suspected terrorists and recovered several items, including a motorcycle, machetes, and a mobile phone. The operation was coordinated to sweep the general area as part of ongoing efforts to dismantle criminal networks operating within Kogi State.

Following their arrest, the suspects were handed over to the Nigerian Police Force for further investigation and necessary action.
