Troops Arrest Two Suspected Terrorists in Kogi State

Troops from the 12 Brigade arrested two suspected terrorists during a patrol operation in the Ajaokuta Local Government Area of Kogi State on May 19 at approximately 9:00 AM. The operation was part of ongoing efforts to curb criminal activities and restore security along vulnerable routes in the region.

The operation was reported by security expert Zagazola Makama, who noted that the troops conducted a coordinated sweep of the general area. During the operation, the two suspects were apprehended, and various items were recovered, including a motorcycle, a machete, and a mobile phone.

The recovered items were subsequently handed over to the Nigerian Police Force for further investigation and necessary action. This patrol is part of a continuous operation aimed at dismantling criminal networks operating within Kogi State.
