Nigerian Troops Foil Boko Haram Ambush, Kill Commanders in Borno

Nigerian troops, under the Joint Task Force Northeast Operation Hadin Kai, foiled an ambush by Boko Haram in Borno State, resulting in the death of two commanders, including Basulhu Ubaida. The operation involved heavy gunfire and superior firepower, leading to the neutralization of 10 terrorists.

Significant weapons and equipment were recovered, and further contacts in the Malkub area resulted in the neutralization of two more terrorists. Troop morale remains high as operations continue in the region to combat insurgency.
