Nigerian Troops Eliminate Top Boko Haram Commander and Bandits in Coordinated Operations

Nigerian troops, including Sector 1 members and civilian Joint Task Force operatives, successfully killed a top Boko Haram commander, Julaibib, and 10 others in Borno State. Lt.

Col. Sani Uba led the operation, which also resulted in the elimination of notorious Boko Haram/ISWAP commander Abu Khalid Kei.

In Zamfara State, troops neutralized scores of bandits, including the notorious kingpin Gwaska Dan Karmi, during coordinated ground and air operations. The Nigerian Army continues clearance operations in Sambisa Forest, Mandara Mountains, and the Timbuktu Triangle to eradicate terrorist elements and restore peace and stability in the region.
