Troops Neutralize Three Terrorists in Zamfara State

Troops from the Joint Task Force North West, under the command of Lieutenant Colonel Aliyu Danja, conducted a successful operation in Zamfara State, specifically in the Kaura Namoda and Birnin Magaji local government areas. During a fierce firefight with terrorists in Doumbourum village, the troops overwhelmed the attackers with superior firepower, leading to the neutralization of three terrorists.

The operation resulted in the recovery of significant arms and ammunition, including one AK-47 rifle, one machine gun, a locally fabricated handgun, seven rifle magazines, and 571 rounds of ammunition. Importantly, there were no recorded casualties among the troops during this operation.

Lieutenant Colonel Danja emphasized the ongoing commitment and resilience of the troops in the fight against terrorism and criminal activities in the North West region, urging the public to continue supporting security agencies with credible information to enhance operations aimed at ensuring safety and security in Zamfara State and the wider North West region.
