Troops Neutralize Two Terrorists in Borno Ambush

On March 31, troops from the 202 Battalion, operating under Troop Sector 1, conducted a successful ambush along the Aulari-Kawuri axis in Borno State, neutralizing two suspected terrorists. The incident occurred at approximately 2:15 AM, as surveillance cameras detected the suspects moving towards the Yale Forest area.

The troops swiftly engaged the targets upon confirming their hostile intent, resulting in the neutralization of the suspects. This operation is part of the ongoing efforts to prevent terrorist infiltration and deny them freedom of movement along key routes within the operational theater.
