Nigerian Troops and Police Rescue 22 Kidnap Victims

Nigerian troops and police conducted successful operations across the North West and North Central regions, rescuing 22 kidnap victims. In Katsina State, troops from the operation "Fansan Yamma" rescued seven victims and foiled an abduction attempt, while in Zamfara State, three additional victims were rescued during a confrontation with armed criminals.

In Kogi State, troops from the 12 Brigade of the Nigerian Army rescued five victims after engaging in a gun battle with bandits. The operations were supported by air strikes and intelligence reports.

In Kebbi State, police arrested 12 suspects, including alleged members of the Mamudawa Boko Haram group, and recovered illegal weapons. The operations demonstrate ongoing efforts to dismantle criminal networks and restore stability in affected communities.
