Nigerian Army Rescues 34 Kidnap Victims, Arrests Informant

In the last 24 hours, troops of the Nigerian Army have rescued 34 kidnap victims and arrested a suspected ISWAP informant during coordinated operations across the country. Specifically, troops of Operation HADIN KAI rescued 31 victims from terrorists along the Buratai-Kamuya road in Biu Local Government Area of Borno, following a swift response to a CCTV surveillance alert.

Additionally, troops of 145 Battalion conducted a patrol in Damasak, recovering two motorcycles and illicit drugs after terrorists fled. In Adamawa, troops of 232 Battalion Tactical apprehended an ISWAP informant at Garaha Market.

In the North-west, Operation FANSAN YAMMA troops engaged terrorists in Zamfara, while Operation MESA troops rescued a woman and her children in Kogi. In Plateau, troops responded to an attack in Bassa Local Government Area.

In the South-east, Operation UDO KA troops arrested three suspected terrorists linked to a May ambush, recovering significant arms and ammunition from terrorist camps.
