Trump Claims Iran's Khamenei Alive but 'Damaged'

In a recent interview with Fox News, former U.S. President Donald Trump addressed the status of Iran's new supreme leader, Mojtaba Khamenei, stating that he believes Khamenei is alive but "damaged." This was Trump's first public comment since Khamenei's ascension, following the death of his father, the former supreme leader.

Trump’s remarks were aired on the Brian Kilmeade show and were published late Thursday. He expressed concerns over Iran's threats to keep the Strait of Hormuz shut and mentioned that neighboring countries risk being targeted by Iran, particularly in light of the ongoing conflict involving the U.S. and Israel, which began with attacks on February 28.

The situation has escalated, resulting in significant casualties and financial market disruptions, with Iranian leaders defiantly vowing to continue their fight against the U.S. and Israel.
