Sunday Dare Calls for Continuous Reassessment in Nigeria's Democratic Journey

Sunday Dare, speaking at the 23rd annual Trust Dialogue in Abuja, highlighted the challenges in Nigeria's democratic governance, stressing the importance of constant reassessment. He noted the slow development of democracy in Nigeria due to citizen apathy towards leadership and institutions.

Dare urged for the management of diversity, delivery of justice, fostering tolerance, and strengthening political legitimacy and economic fairness. He traced Nigeria's political challenges to historical roots, including tribal and ethnic divisions.

Dare expressed optimism in dialogue and inclusivity to address Nigeria's democratic growth and meet citizens' aspirations.
