Saraki Urges PDP Stakeholders to Rebuild and Reconcile

Bukola Saraki, the former Senate President, called on stakeholders of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) to prioritize reconciliation and rebuilding efforts in light of a recent Supreme Court ruling. In a statement released by Yusuph Olaniyonu from Saraki's media office, he urged party members to begin immediate reconciliation to maintain the court's decision, which nullified the Ibadan convention.

Saraki highlighted the importance of avoiding prolonged crises within the party and emphasized the need for unity and discipline among members. He noted that the legal decision should resolve lingering questions regarding the party's leadership and called for members involved in legal battles to return and contribute to strengthening the party.

Saraki congratulated the members of the national working committee and stressed the need to focus on broader goals, describing the PDP as a viable platform for electoral participation in the upcoming 2027 elections.
