Tuggar Refutes Yuguda's Claims of APC Disaffection

Yusuf Maitama Tuggar, the Nigerian Minister of Foreign Affairs, has denied allegations made by former Bauchi State Governor Isa Yuguda, who claimed that Tuggar is fueling disaffection within the All Progressives Congress (APC). In a statement issued by Tuggar's special assistant on media, Alkassim Abdukadir, he described Yuguda's claims as entirely false and lacking credible evidence.

Tuggar stated that he remains focused on his national duties and will not engage in unnecessary public disputes that could tarnish his reputation. He emphasized his loyalty to the APC and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, asserting that he follows due process in party matters.

Tuggar also addressed the ongoing internal disputes within the APC regarding the state secretariat and the influence of various stakeholders, particularly in the Katagum Zone. He criticized Yuguda's past political affiliations and suggested that his current statements are motivated by personal political interests rather than the unity of the party.
