PDP's Turaki Faction Endorses APM Candidate Adebayo

The Turaki-led faction of the People's Democratic Party (PDP), under the leadership of former Osun State Governor Olagunsoye Oyinlola, has officially endorsed Adebayo, the candidate from the Alliance for People's Movement (APM), for the upcoming Osun State governorship election scheduled for August 15. This endorsement was made during an event held in Okuku, Osun State, where Oyinlola, accompanied by former state secretary Fatai Akinbade and former PDP South West Vice Chairman Tajudeen Oladipo, pledged support for Adebayo.

Oyinlola explained that the alliance between the Turaki faction of the PDP and the APM is a reflection of their collaborative work at the national level, which they aim to replicate in Osun State. He emphasized the importance of leadership and urged the youth, aged 18 to 52, to trust in the APM as a credible alternative.

The current governor, Ademola Adeleke, is seeking re-election, with major contenders including Bola Oyebamiji and Najeem Salaam.
