Turaki, Makinde, Mohammed Battle PDP Leadership Crisis at Appeal Court

Tanimu Turaki, along with Makinde and Mohammed, attended the Appeal Court in Abuja regarding the leadership tussle within the People's Democratic Party (PDP). The court had previously ruled in favor of a faction led by Nyesom Wike, recognizing them as the caretaker committee pending a valid national convention.

This decision has intensified the leadership crisis within the PDP, leading to ongoing legal and political confrontations among different factions. The dispute stems from multiple factions claiming the party's national leadership, creating challenges for the opposition party ahead of the 2023 general elections.

Despite previous attempts to resolve the issue, the PDP continues to grapple with internal divisions and struggles for control over its national structure.
