Two Security Guards Arrested for Murder in Ogun State

On April 10, 2026, two private security guards, Isikilu Dauda and Raski Abba, were arrested by the Ogun State Police Command in connection with the murder of a traveler along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway in Ibafo. The incident occurred when the victim was attacked with a machete while en route to the hospital after being rescued.

Ogun State Police Public Relations Officer Oluseyi Babaseyi confirmed that the police responded to a distress call and found the victim, who was subsequently rushed to the hospital but pronounced dead upon arrival. Preliminary investigations revealed a blood trail linking the suspects to the scene, leading to their apprehension.

The case has been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department in Eleweran, Abeokuta, for further investigation. Commissioner of Police Bode Ojajuni condemned the incident and assured that all involved would be brought to justice.
