Two Tourists Found Dead in Kruger National Park, South Africa

Two South African tourists were tragically found dead in Kruger National Park, South Africa, after failing to return to their lodge on Wednesday evening. A search operation was initiated, leading to the discovery of their bodies in a river on Friday afternoon.

The male victim, aged 71, had stab wounds, while the female victim's body showed signs of bruising. Their vehicle was reported missing.

In response to this incident, SANParks has deployed additional monitoring rangers and resources to the area of concern and is enhancing technological systems to strengthen surveillance and early warning capabilities. This incident marks a grim milestone as it is the first time in the park's 100-year history that visitors have been killed.
