Falconets Drawn in Group F for 2026 U-20 WWC

Nigeria's U-20 women's football team, known as the Falconets, has been placed in Group F for the 2026 FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup. The draw ceremony for this biennial competition took place in Łódź, Poland, on Friday.

The Falconets will compete against teams from Spain, China, and New Caledonia. This tournament marks the Falconets' aim to win the championship for the first time, having previously finished as runners-up twice.

The matches will be held across four host cities: Bielsko-Biała, Katowice, Łódź, and Sosnowiec. The tournament is scheduled to occur from September 5 to September 27, 2026.

Nigeria has not missed a single edition of this competition since its inception.
