UAE Intercepts Iranian Missiles Amid Gulf Tensions

The UAE Ministry of Defense announced that its air defense systems successfully intercepted several aerial threats, including 294 ballistic missiles and 1,600 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) launched from Iran. This action is part of a broader pattern of Iranian aggression, as tensions in the Gulf region continue to escalate.

The ministry confirmed that the attacks resulted in 141 minor to moderate injuries among residents from various countries, including Egypt, Sudan, Ethiopia, the Philippines, Pakistan, and others. The Qatari government has also raised concerns, submitting a formal complaint to the United Nations Security Council regarding alleged Iranian attacks on its territory.

This complaint was communicated by Qatari Foreign Affairs Minister Sheikha Alya Ahmed bin Saif Al Thani, highlighting serious violations of Qatar's sovereignty and territorial integrity. The UAE's armed forces remain on high alert to respond to any further threats against the country.
