UAE Intercepts 132 Missiles and 195 Drones from Iran

On Tuesday, the UAE Ministry of Defence announced that its air force and air defense units successfully intercepted a significant Iranian attack involving 137 ballistic missiles and 209 drones. Out of the 137 missiles, 132 were destroyed, while five fell into the sea.

Additionally, 195 out of 209 detected drones were intercepted, with 14 landing within UAE territory, causing minor material damage. The UAE government condemned the attack, describing it as a violation of national sovereignty and international law, emphasizing that it represents a significant escalation that endangers civilian lives and undermines regional security.

Reem Al Hashimi stated that the country remains on high alert and is fully prepared to confront emerging threats. The situation is exacerbated by heightened tensions in the region, particularly between the US, Israel, and Iran.
