Iran Missile Attack on UAE Injures Nigerians Amid Tensions

On March 14, 2023, Iran launched a significant military assault on the UAE, firing multiple ballistic missiles and drones, which resulted in six fatalities and 141 injuries, including Nigerian nationals among the foreign casualties. The UAE Ministry of Defence reported that its air defense systems successfully intercepted several of the nine ballistic missiles and 33 drones fired by Iran.
