UBA Half-Year 2026 Results Filing Extended to September 30

United Bank for Africa Plc has disclosed that its Board of Directors approved the Bank's audited financial statements for the half-year ended June 30, 2026, on August 13, 2026, but publication requires approval from its primary regulator. The Nigerian Exchange Limited has granted UBA an extension to file the results on or before September 30, 2026.
United Bank for Africa Plc (UBA) has notified shareholders and the investing public that its Board of Directors approved the Bank's audited financial statements for the half-year ended June 30, 2026, at a board meeting held on August 13, 2026. However, the Bank stated that approval from its primary regulator is required before the results can be published.
To accommodate this regulatory process, UBA applied to the Nigerian Exchange Limited (NGX) for an extension of the filing deadline. The NGX granted approval for the Bank to file the results on or before September 30, 2026, conditional on obtaining the necessary regulatory approvals.
In the same notice, UBA reminded its insiders — including directors and other connected persons — that the Closed Period previously declared in connection with the half-year results remains in force. The restriction on transactions in UBA's securities will remain in effect until 24 hours after the results are formally published. The filing was signed by Bili A. Odum, Group Company Secretary and Legal Counsel, on behalf of the Board.
