United Bank for Africa UBA H1 2026 Results Filing Delayed

United Bank for Africa Plc (UBA) has disclosed that its Board of Directors approved the bank's audited financial statements for the half-year ended June 30, 2026 at a board meeting held on August 13, 2026. However, the bank stated that publication of the results is contingent on obtaining approval from its primary regulator before release.

In anticipation of this requirement, UBA applied for and received an extension of time from the Nigerian Exchange Limited (NGX) to file the half-year results. The new deadline for publication is on or before September 30, 2026, subject to the requisite regulatory approvals being secured.

The bank also reminded its insiders that a Closed Period, previously declared in connection with the half-year results, remains in force. This restriction on transactions in UBA's securities will remain effective until 24 hours after the results are formally published.

The filing was signed by Bili A. Odum, Group Company Secretary and Legal Counsel, on behalf of the Board. UBA is incorporated in Nigeria with RC No. 2457 and is headquartered at UBA House, 57 Marina, Lagos.
