UBA Foundation and Slum2School Launch Financial Literacy Program

UBA Foundation has partnered with Slum2School Africa to deliver financial literacy workshops aimed at underprivileged children. The initiative focuses on equipping children with essential money management skills from an early age.

The program includes the UBA Money Explorers book and interactive activities designed to introduce fundamental financial concepts. Bola Atta, the Managing Director of UBA Foundation, emphasized the importance of early financial education in building lifelong habits and fostering confidence in economic independence.

The partnership allows UBA Foundation to reach more children, with support from the Slum2School Africa team led by Senior Program Manager Adekunl Idowu and Education Innovation Manager Oluyemi Alugo. Ozioma Obi, a segment executive at UBA, noted that the initiative reflects the bank's broader vision of raising financial confidence among youth.

This program is part of UBA Foundation's broader financial inclusion and social impact agenda, promoting educational outreach across 20 African countries.
