Uba Sani Distributes N2 Billion Compensation in Kaduna

Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State distributed compensation cheques worth N2 billion to 1,000 individuals whose properties will be affected by various road construction projects. This distribution occurred within two weeks and included projects along the Hunkuyi-Unguwan Rimi-Basawa road corridor and a 15km ring road at Danbushiya Junction.

The governor emphasized the administration's commitment to infrastructure development that prioritizes the welfare and dignity of the people. He noted that the compensation process was conducted transparently and comprehensively, ensuring that every eligible person received fair and adequate compensation.

The Kaduna State Road Agency (KADRA), led by Dr. Abdullahi Baba Ahmad, was responsible for the assessment and distribution process.

Governor Sani reiterated that no citizen should bear an unfair burden in the pursuit of public infrastructure, and the compensation reflects the government's legal and moral obligations to its citizens.
