Uba Sani Supports 97 Ex-Inmates with N100,000 Each

Uba Sani, the Governor of Kaduna State, has initiated a financial support program for 97 ex-inmates, providing each with N100,000 to aid their reintegration into society. This support was announced during an event where the governor emphasized the importance of helping former inmates transition back into their communities.

Dalhat Ibrahim commended Governor Sani's gesture, stating it would facilitate reforms and rehabilitation efforts at the Kaduna Medium Security Custodial Centre. Alhaji Moham Suleiman, the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Protocol, confirmed that this financial assistance is part of a clemency grant announced on June 12.

He advised the freed inmates to maintain good behavior and avoid criminal activities to prevent re-incarceration. Former inmate Chuk Solomon expressed gratitude for the opportunity to start anew, while Abubakar Umar described his release as a joyous occasion.

The initiative reflects the government's commitment to supporting individuals in their reintegration process.
