UEFA Draws 2026/27 Champions League Play-Off Matches

UEFA has completed the draw for the 2026/27 Champions League play-off round, involving 14 clubs that will compete for a place in the league phase of Europe’s premier club competition. The draw includes fixtures from both the champions path and the league path.

The first-leg matches are scheduled for August 18 and 19, while the return fixtures will occur on August 25 and 26. Aggregate winners will qualify for the Champions League league phase, while losing teams will continue in other UEFA competitions.

In the champions path, notable ties include PFC Levski Sofia or FC Kairat Almaty against AEK Athens FC, and Celtic FC facing LASK. Other fixtures include GNK Dinamo or FK Kauno Žalgiris against Viking FK, Mjällby AIF or ŠK Slovan Bratislava against FC Ararat-Armenia or NK Celje, and Hapoel Beer-Sheva FC or FK Crvena Zvezda against AGF Aarhus or Sabah FC.

In the league path, Fenerbahçe SK or SK Sturm Graz will meet AC Sparta Praha or Olympique Lyonnais, while Olympiacos FC or N.E.C. Nijmegen will face R.
