Uganda Declares End to Ebola Outbreak Amid Challenges

Uganda has officially declared the end of its Ebola outbreak, which was first reported in mid-May. The outbreak was characterized by fifteen confirmed cases of Ebola, all of which were traced back to the Democratic Republic of Congo, identified as the epicenter of the epidemic.

Chris Baryomunsi, the Health Minister of Uganda, provided this update, emphasizing the significance of the declaration in the context of public health and safety.
