Ukomu Igala Lauds Tinubu, Urges Infrastructure Acceleration

The Ukomu Igala Organization expressed appreciation to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, for his commitment to inclusive governance and the appointment of Igala/Bassa individuals to significant roles in his administration. In a statement signed by National Leader Major General James A.

Ataguba (rtd) Ph.D, the organization highlighted the appointments of the current Chief of Army Staff, the Honourable Minister of Steel Development, the DG of NPC, and the DG of the National Boundary Commission as evidence of merit and national inclusion. They commended the federal government for initiating the Rural Solar Electrification Project in Igala/Bassa land, viewing it as a step towards sustainable energy access and economic growth.

Furthermore, Ukomu Igala called for expedited action on key infrastructure projects in Kogi State, specifically requesting the completion of the Shintaku–Gboloko–Dekina–Anyingba Road and other vital corridors to enhance commerce and agricultural value chains.
