Ukraine Premier League Football to Start in August Amid Russia War

The Ukrainian government has declared the commencement of the Premier League football on August 23 despite the conflict with Russia. Ukrainian Youth and Sports Minister Vadym Gutsait announced the decision, stating that games will be played without spectators during air raids.

The move comes as Russia continues its invasion of Ukraine, with recent attacks in the Donetsk region. Ukrainian Defense Minister Oleksii Reznikov has vowed to counter Russian offensives in the southern areas of the country.
