Peter Obi Criticizes Tinubu Over Food Insecurity Issues

Peter Obi, the former president of the Labour Party, criticized President Bola Tinubu's administration during an interview on Central TV. He accused the Tinubu administration of mismanaging the country, particularly in terms of borrowing and failing to address insecurity, which he claims has worsened food policies.

Obi pointed out that Nigeria has become poorer under Tinubu's leadership since he took office in 2023. He noted that despite Ukraine being ravaged by war, it is still able to donate grain to Nigeria, highlighting the severe food insecurity in the country.

Obi reiterated his commitment to run for president in the 2027 elections, stating that he will not remain idle for four years and that his decision will not change even under pressure.
