Umahi Appointed Deputy DG for 2027 APC Campaign Council

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has approved the formation of the 2027 All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council, which includes key political leaders and strategists to manage the campaign for the 2027 General Elections. Senator Engr. David Umahi has been appointed as the Deputy Director-General for Infrastructure, Mobilisation and Sensitisation.

This role positions him centrally in the campaign's strategic framework, focusing on infrastructure advocacy and political mobilisation. Umahi, who is the Honourable Minister of Works and has a history as a former Deputy Governor, Governor, and Senator, is expected to leverage his extensive experience to communicate the achievements of the Renewed Hope Administration.

The council will be led by Senator Abdulaziz Yari, the former Governor of Zamfara State, who serves as the Director-General. The composition of the council reflects a commitment to a robust campaign strategy, emphasizing grassroots engagement and national coordination to promote the administration's accomplishments across Nigeria.
