Umahi Links APC's Ekiti Victory to Tinubu's Leadership

David Umahi, the Minister of Works, linked the All Progressives Congress (APC)'s recent victory in the Ekiti State governorship election to the performance of President Bola Tinubu. Umahi made these remarks during a courtesy visit to the re-elected Governor of Ekiti State, Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji, at the Federal Ministry of Works headquarters in Abuja.

He congratulated Oyebanji on his landslide re-election and praised President Tinubu for the APC's strong endorsement in the Ekiti polls, attributing it to the administration's infrastructure development agenda. Umahi stated that the outcome of the Ekiti election is a pointer to what could happen in the 2027 presidential elections.

He assured that the newly approved Ado-Ijan-Ilumoba-Ikol road project would be executed transparently and that the state government would be kept informed throughout the process. Umahi emphasized the importance of equitable infrastructure distribution across the country and credited Tinubu's swift approval of critical road projects for the APC's electoral success.
