Ebonyi State University Expels Students with Weapons During Elections

Ebonyi State University (EBSU) expelled three students for carrying firearms during the student union elections, as announced by the Vice Chancellor, Professor Michael Awok. The university aims to curb violence and maintain a peaceful environment for learning.

In a separate incident, the President of the Student Union Government at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, Chinedu Ozoagu, and seven other executives were suspended for alleged involvement in cultism and misconduct. Christian Okek was indicted for harboring cultists for monetary gain within the university environment.
