University of Abuja Appoints Hakeem Babatunde Fawehinmi as New Vice Chancellor

The University of Abuja has appointed Hakeem Babatunde Fawehinmi as its new Vice Chancellor, succeeding Professor Mathew Adamu. Fawehinmi, a respected academic and former Deputy Vice Chancellor, will assume office on February 10, 2026, for a single non-renewable five-year term.
