‘Unlike ADC, We Do Not Play Politics With Human Lives’ – PDP Governors

The PDP Governors Forum issued a statement in response to criticism over a dinner event held in Zamfara State, where they were accused of being insensitive to the recent bandit attacks in the area. The ADC leader in Zamfara condemned the event, calling it a jamboree, while the National Publicity Secretary of the ADC accused the PDP governors of ignoring the suffering of the people.

However, the PDP governors defended the event, stating that it was not a social jamboree but a platform to discuss major national issues, particularly insecurity. The forum commended Zamfara's efforts to tackle insecurity and expressed concern over the continued killings in other states.

They also referred to the ADC defectors as prodigal children whose exit brought peace, emphasizing that they do not play politics with human lives.
