Toni Unuavworho Wins AfricaRe CEOs Golf Tournament

Toni Unuavworho won the AfricaRe CEOs golf tournament, which took place at Ikoyi Club on Friday, achieving a score of 38 stableford points. He finished two points ahead of his closest rival, Anci Okoebor, who was the first runner-up with 36 points.

Obinna Okwoji also scored 36 points but was relegated to third place following a countback. Unuavworho expressed gratitude to the organizers and acknowledged the support from AfricaRe, the tournament's sponsor.

Temitop Akinowo, the Regional Director for Anglophone West Africa at AfricaRe, highlighted the significance of the tournament in promoting economic development and social engagement through sports, coinciding with the company's 50th anniversary. The tournament also featured awards in various categories, including Olaid Adekoya winning the ladies' stableford category and Segun Adekoya winning the men's longest drive on hole 9.

The event attracted top executive golfers and marked a significant milestone for AfricaRe.
