Jennifer Etu Foundation Provides Free Medical Care to 3,000

The Jennifer Etu Foundation conducted a free medical outreach from March 17-21, 2023, in Umunoha, Mbaitoli Local Government Area, Imo State, offering services to 3,000 patients with various medical challenges. The outreach provided comprehensive free services, including medical consultations, specialized surgeries, ophthalmology, dental care, and health promotion.

The program, managed by Mr. Joe, aimed to ensure that everyone with medical needs received attention without cost.

The foundation has previously conducted similar outreach programs, with this being the second time in the area. On the first day, 500 patients were treated, with 700 on the second day, and a total of 50 surgeries performed, addressing ailments such as cataracts.

The foundation focuses on health education and economic empowerment, particularly for women and widows. Mr.

Chidi Nwankpa from ProHealth International emphasized the importance of voluntary medical personnel in providing these services, which are crucial for addressing healthcare gaps in Nigeria.
