Trump Claims U.S. Military Actions Reduced Christian Killings

He described the situation in Nigeria as dire, referencing the slaughter of thousands of innocent people, including children and the elderly. Trump indicated that military actions have weakened key terrorist networks and eliminated several high-ranking leaders.

He warned against further attacks and reiterated the U.S. commitment to protecting religious freedom globally. Trump also mentioned a joint counterterror operation involving Nigerian forces and the U.S.

Africa Command, which resulted in the deaths of 21 fighters linked to the Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP) during airstrikes in June.
